Many Flyers, an Imprint of Magical Pork, is preparing to launch soon. Many Flyers will help take the hassle out of group travel. The first version, set to launch this summer, will help you coordinate flights from many origins to a single destination.
Remember when you and the girls wanted to spend a weekend in Napa? Many Flyers will make it easy to get everyone from New York, Chicago, where ever, to the airport in San Francisco at the same time – making it easy to rent a car and get to Napa together.
Visit the Many Flyers site to sign up to be notified when we launch.
The bloggers at BestCollegesOnline have included Tweeteorology on their lists of the Top 100 Tools for Twittering Teachers. Tweeteorology is included under “Classroom Tools.” We’d love to hear from any teachers who do use Tweeteorology in their classrooms, especially if you have recommendations for how the tool could be more useful.
Of course you’re wondering why we’re called Magical Pork. Who wouldn’t wonder?
Our name comes from
- magic – “In the context of computer programming, magic is an informal term for abstraction – it is used to describe code that handles complex tasks while hiding that complexity to present a simple interface. …” and
- pork barrel – “appropriation of … spending for projects that are intended primarily to benefit particular constituents.”
Magical Pork undertakes projects aimed at benefiting a specific group by writing code that handles complex tasks through simple interfaces.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Libby Hemphill, the founder, makes a mean carnitas.
